Day 63 Aug 28 Wilcox Creek to Jasper 133 km

I camped at the top of the pass only about 2 km from Icefields.

                           What!? 2.50$ just to connect?!

                         Rockies

                          Down hill and tail wind

I found this ACA Map yesterday on the side of the road, I already have one, so I gave it to the German guy Paul I met last night.  This morning I met a guy from Missoula Montana that lost it,  hehe

This one is for my nephew Viktor, He loves kopary :)

Going down from Sunwapta Pass  i maxed out at 78 km/h with out even moving a pedal.

   I had to change

                            it's getting hot

My new Friend Rayman, He's from Vancouver, every summer for past 20 years or so, he travels on his bicycle to Alberta.
As soon as I stopped Rayman offered me power bar and I rolled him a cigarette.
We smoked while complementing each others bike :)

lunch, tuna fish and noodles, very good!

                 Went for a short  hike

       Jasper !!!

       Trans Canadian Railroad

Elk, big one too. My camera failed miserably, could be just me. On the way to my campsite I saw this huge Elk eating grass about 10 m from the road.

Day 62 Aug 27 Mosquito Creek to Wilcox Creek 103km

                    very good toothpaste from Taiwan

Fredrerick's little bike, it folds in half, fits in a suitcase and it's red :))

Stopped to see what's going on. Nothing's going on! Tour Bus stopped and people take pictures of everything, that's what's going on!

I went to look for a nice quite place to take my pic :)

And then I got a flat, I thought that 3 would be enough,  damn wire again. Someone told me it's from  blown up Radial  truck tires.

patching a tube makes me very happy

From putting constant pressure on my feet, sometimes my toes get a little numb especially on a hot day. So I put my feet in cold creek and think about life :)

          Came from down there

Almost at the top of the Sunwapta Pass

At the top.  Note on the van said that no one got hurt.

Got the last campsite at the park.

Later on I met Paul from Germany, He's on the road for 6 weeks now, going south.
