Day 35 July 31 Bear Butte to Mount Rushmore SD 76 miles

Today and next 3 day in the Black Hills were very exciting!!!
On the morning I went to Sturgis, even though the rally starts on Aug 4th the energy was already there,  population of Sturgis is about 6000 for the rally about 800 000 motorcycles shows up and roughly around 3000000 people the population of South Dakota doubles, a place to be if you ride or don't,  anything goes.
After short visit I went to Deadwood, cool little touristy town where Wild Bill was shot, and from Dead Wood about about 50 mile ride to Mount Rushmore, it was hilly at times but there was something different behind every turn.
full concentration

This street is filled with motorcycle for as long as you can see

and killed

When I came out of gas station in Deadwood and started rolling my bike the tube exploded, I got scared that somebody may start shooting :)

I'm having a beer at the #10 Saloon where Wild Bill was shot, well...
the original Saloon  burned down, but this is the exact replica across the street :)

I thought it would be less by now

When I took this pic I realized that I'm very close

After Mount Rushmore i found a campsite about a mile from the park, it was a free camp where most of the climbers stay, there is a lot of climbing here.
