Day 30 July 26 Fargo ND to Elendale ND 54 miles

                                    breakfast in bed

                                 Ellendale

Today was not a good day, the wind was blowing pretty hard and the shoulder on the road was rough and about 18 inches wide, it took me 6.5 hrs to get to Ellendale.
I asked a guy in a Motel if i could set up my tent on his property, he did not mind.

Day 29 July 25 Fargo ND to Gwinner ND 96 miles

After leaving campsite i went to eat and then i went to library, after  1/2 hr in the library i went to a local bike shop to buy some tubes and a extra tire. took some more pics around town and started to go west  on interstate 94, it is legal to ride a bike on interstates in North  Dakota, wind was coming from west so i only stayed there for a couple miles and turned south . For the rest of the day i kept going a little south to take a break and west again against the wind, i did that all the way to Gwinner.

interstate 94

along the way i got myself into dirt road for a few miles

                                             this is Kent
Couple miles before  Gwinner i saw a guy biking in opposite direction, about 1/2 hr later he caught up with me on his way back, it was getting late and i would have to turn north again in Gwinner.
Kent told me about city park or if i wanted to i could use his yard

Day 25 July 21 Duluth MN to Crosby MN 122 miles

Last night after Jay left, I went on a little ride along the lake, but i got a flat so after fixing it i turned around.(a small piece of wire) Then went to check out the band that was supposed to play at Amazing Grace (there was a guy playing guitar and screaming) didn't stay too long.
When it got dark i road the bike back to the same spot by the lake, didn't sleep that well because someone had his birthday party till early morning, but still managed to wake up very early. (Hey Jay i saw that fox again on the way to the lake hehe, he was asking where is the other guy)
After i left the beach i went straight to Amazing Grace to have there breakfast one more time.

it may not look like it, but there is about 10 people sleeping there. Duluth in the distance

I think they should change a name of this to "breakfast for two for one" :)

Good bye Duluth

So long Great Lakes!!!      that was some steep hill to climb

I met these two along the way, this is Berry and Jett. I stopped to make sure i was going in right direction, then we started talking, after while Berry goes to me, hey Wes,  so do You like turtles? followed with a "twilight zone" king of lough...
I was like why!? what!? why you asking me if i like turtles?
It kind of spooked me out because i have picture of a turtle on this blog and all i could think of how the hell does he know that i like turtles? where am I!!???
As it turns out they had turtles and wanted to show them to me ha ha

Dan

Couple miles  later i met Dan, he was riding from Superior to see his brother in going to see his brother in Tamarack, about 60 miles away, so I road with him for a few hrs. Dan is planing to go west on his bike, he's just not sure when. (Hey Dan i hope You already left :)
