Day 9 July 5 Lake Side Beach to Dunnville 98 miles

So here we go again, got up, washed up, ate breakfast, packed all the stuff on the bike this time. i forgot a few things along the way,  I left my flip flaps by the stream  and my all around washing detergent  some other day, it's easy to forget something with all the stuff.
We were about 45 miles from Niagara Falls, Jay had to turn south, only because he did not have a passport.
I know You wanted to go all the way to Minnesota Jay hehehe You were just warming up :)

I go there Jay is not sure

On the way to Niagara falls

About 4 miles before i got to the border i met a guy from Toronto, who was going on a trip around Lake Ontario.

This is Thien, experienced cyclist, he went from Nova Scotia to Alaska couple years ago 12000 km
in  4 months.

Got to the border, exchanged some money and crossed to Canada with out any complications.

Went to see Niagara Fall, never been here before so i was kind of excited

By the  Falls i met couple Scott and JT going to Albany no pic though

By late afternoon i got to town called Dunnville, i stopped at supermarket to buy something to eat and asked a man working about any campsites in the area, he did not know of any, but he offer me to stay at his yard.
He gave me his address and said that the house is open make yourself at home, beer is in the fridge, awesome!
So i got on the bike started heading toward his house, then John pull out from a side street waving me in. I fallowed him to the house, You know what Wes he said, i can't let you sleep outside it's too god damn hot!!
He showed me around the house gave me jar of strawberry jam  and went back to work

                                                         fun in the pool

  1. WOW!!! What a "campsite"... it is easier to get some pity when you are out there alone I guess!!!@#@? I was glad that I brought ear plugs and eye shades as people were noisy and coming and going until 12:30 am in state parks! Grrrrr....We need to renovate bathrooms and pay park rangers in NYState!!! Crazy to pay $28 for sites on a bike!
