Day 17 July13 Curan MI to Cheboygan state park 97 miles

Today i got up early, i had stuff all over the place and i wanted to have every thing ready before breakfast.

After breakfast we went outside to take this beautiful picture :) Tubing on the river was in plans for today, nothing like going down the river in a tube drinking beers and going pee whenever u feel like, so it was a tough decision but i had to go.

So got back on the road and continued north on Rte 65, after a day break it felt good to be back in the saddle.

If anyone is interested the festival is at the Beginning of September in the town of Posen, Polka dancing, beer truck, good food. Guy at the store said the festivities last for 3 days.

Once i got  to the lake i continued along a shore, it was too early to look for a campsite yet. By late afternoon i arrived at the Cheboygan State Park. The park office was 3 miles from the road, before i even got there i came across a trail which led me to the lake.
